I just read an article that described Michelle Obama as "independent" because she picks out her own clothes. This gave my ego a boost to know that I've actually been "independent" since I was about 7 and it also puts my mind at ease to know that a potential White House habitant possesses such a skill. Whew. Thanks media!

Speaking of potential first ladies, did you see the cover of Newsweek with Cindy McCain? I DO NOT think she picks out her own clothes! I know she's an heiress and all, but honestly she looks like she'd be more at home in a Nascar t-shirt with rolled-up sleeves and some really tight jeans...in front of a double-wide trailer!
